Month: August 2010

We praise the Lord for His love and mercy because He entrusted all of us with a great and honorable ministry. The Union of the Evangelical Christian Baptist Churches of Armenia organized a 6-weeks summer camp for 8 – 13 years old children from July 12 to August 30, 2010. More then 800 children participated in the camp during those 6 weeks. Before the beginning of this ministry the Holy Spirit reminded us to pray for the leaders first, then for the whole program. We trusted that God would call His people and use them for His glory. 65 leaders had voluntarily served among the children at the Camp. And this was the beginning of this camp.
God blessed the entire program of our “Agape” camp, including games and biblical stories. It is noteworthy to mention that during the worship songs the children were giving thanks to Jesus. We saw that the hearts of children were so joyful. We also want to mention that the unity of leaders was a good testimony for the children (some of them wanted to be leaders later). We hope the children enjoyed the love of Jesus during the camp. We had 16 orphans at the camp. We used to pray for these children every morning, and God answered our prayers. One of them is small Milena who has testified that Jesus loves her and so do all of the leaders.
We thank Jesus for giving us the strength and leading us by His hand. We have to remember always that God has called us and He is faithful to do it. The fruits of our labor belong to Him, and we are only the instruments in His hands.

‘Do not fear, for I am with you;
Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you, surely I will help you,
Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’
Isaiah 43:10
